Adventure in Italy: Tuscany, Day 3

Standard

The magic of wine country seems to wield its magic wand each and every time I visit. Chianti is a truly magical place, and the wine is as fabulous as the countryside. I could have set up my easel and set to translating in paint what I have no words for. I could do that for a lifetime, but alas, I had just today — and for that I am grateful. I invite you to pour a glass of Chianti Classico, put your feet up and take your own journey. May these photos serve as inspiration!

Adventure in Italy: Florence, Day 2

Standard

From Rome, which spans so many periods and art movements, to Florence, where the Renaissance reigns supreme, we’re traveling through history in the present moment. A beautiful train ride brought us to a city I’m crazy, head over heels about. Florence welcomed us with its usual grace and elegance — the perfect host.  We had amazing food and wine, with a view to boot! Drinking from the cup of life and loving it. Travel makes me feel expanded and alive. Learning more history and ogling great art feeds my soul. Cheers to the roads we travel doing it our way!
