Journey to Lemon Creek

Standard

One of my favorite things to do on the Michigan wine trail is visit the wineries, the beautiful land, and meet the people behind the vine. On Monday, I had the pleasure of visiting Lemon Creek Winery, the latest winery to be carrying my paintings at their two locations: the main site Berrien Springs and their off-site tasting room in Grand Haven. Here are a few highlights from my visit, but I encourage you to check it out for yourself!

Painting of the Week: “Homeward”

Standard

Image“‘Homeward’ is inspired by that feeling of belonging certain places give you, a sense of calm and familiar. Michigan is filled with these beautiful places, rolling green landscapes, and open fields and farmland. In particular where the grapes grow give me that warm feeling, a glow. The road is symbolic of accessibility, so the viewer feels they belong in the way the landscapes make me feel when I’m standing there.”

Size: 24″ x 24″
