Wine Review Wednesday

Standard

This weeks Wine Review Wednesday is a tribute to all Michigan Wines, in the form of a poem.

Harvest

Bountiful beauty,
generous earth.
Rolling hills,
wrapped in vines.
A last bow,
in glorious shades.
Red, orange, yellow,
and lime.
Grapes bursting in ripeness.
Harvest,
Uncork,
Enjoy!

Chateau de Leelanau – 2010 Pinot Noir

This Gold Medal winning Pinot does not disappoint. It’s raw and earthy, on the cusp of ripeness, just as it should be. Fruity on the nose and palate, with hints of leather, black licorice, and wild cherry. The finish is dry and complete, making you want another sip. You will be completely satisfied! Cheers to great Michigan Pinot!
